Provide space
A team needs somewhere to build. Workshop, industrial, flex, warehouse, or shared space all work, and so does a temporary or seasonal arrangement while we find a permanent home.
Community partners
It takes a community to build a community robotics team.
Money is one way to help, and it is not always the most useful one. Gold Rush is being built in Colma for Peninsula students, and a lot of what we need is already sitting in local shops, offices, and garages — along with the people who know how to use it.
Share expertise
Engineers, programmers, machinists, designers, and project managers make an enormous difference as mentors or occasional advisors. A few hours during build season counts.
Provide equipment or services
Tools, materials, electronics, machining, fabrication, printing, transportation, or professional services. If students can build with it, we can use it.
Connect us
Sometimes the most valuable thing anyone gives us is an introduction — to a business, a shop, a school, or someone who has done this before.
Engage the community
Robotics demonstrations, STEM activities at community events, or opportunities for our students to show their work and give something back locally.
